Komby in 15 Steps: Step 15: The Investor, opening the door

The Investor Komby Capital, ouvrir la porte à un investisseur sérieux et construire ensemble

The album closed on The Undertaker. Fourteen tracks, fourteen battle marks. The ring goes on. One question has stayed open since Underdog Man: one day, I will meet a serious investor, in phase with my whole personality.

That day is drawing nearer. Where will they come from? London, Hong Kong, Limassol, an operator who already has solid footing, a family office that reads the long term: the postcode will matter less than the fit. What counts is alignment. And the vehicle to meet is Komby Capital.

The trial: opening to accelerate

Bootstrapping Komby is a source of pride and a speed limit. You hold the product, support, SEO, the ring. You move forward. You also see what a war chest changes: more surface, more rounds, more capacity to serve the field (restaurants, offices, nightclubs, retail, service sector) whilst holding Make It Easy.

Opening means choosing to accelerate with someone who understands why Komby keeps MetaSaaS standing, why the combination beats fragmentation, and why the founder behind CEO stays on the ground.

A memory

In rooms where people talk term sheets, I often turned up with bootstrap and a determination few could see. They counted fundraising rounds; I kept delivering. Y Combinator, in 2026, sent back a "too much": too broad for their grid. I took it. I kept my shape, the one sung from Komby Komby onwards.

The investor I am looking for already sees the combination. They see the fight. They welcome that a CEO can still compose a quasi-autobiographical album: music feeds the business, the business feeds the music.

Why Komby Capital

kombycapital.com is the front door. Data Room, Business Plan, ecosystem: komby.io, komby.restaurant, komby.work, kombybrowser.com, komby.music. Look at what exists. Measure the path. Write if the fit feels right.

I hand you the dossier and put a face on the project. What follows plays out in conversation, around a real table or on a call, with the same seriousness as a Study Case you might one day want to see in a lecture theatre.

Who I am looking for

A serious investor. In phase with my whole personality: fighter, hands-on, Make It Easy, international ambition since London Lights, anchoring in Wan Chai, structure in Cyprus. Someone who invests to accelerate service for independents, and to grow what we have already built.

Clearing the mind, opening what comes next

The fourteen steps released what I could no longer keep inside. This one opens what we build next: aligned capital, a wider team, a shared ring.

On France Je Te Quitte, the journal continues. Komby grows. If you're that investor, or if you know them: come. Look at Komby Capital. Write via the site. We build together.

The Investor. Fifteenth battle mark. Epilogue. The meeting starts here.
